'Calling Bomvu I'

This is a very special vessel and I am very much inlvoe with it.

How I loved making this series. I had no clear plan and my hands and instinckt took over.

It is a large handbuild 50cm high stoneware vessel. I had so much fun playing with layers of oxides, engobes, underglaze, effect glazes, transfer prints and the last touches of glazes. I love the crator black glaze that gives that amazing texture. As Iast I added 24k gold touches here and there.
